Integer is seeking Freelance Production Artist to join our Denver agency!

The Integer Group is seeking a Freelance Production Artist with design fundamentals. This position requires both design and technical production skills. The successful candidate will have a unique blend of right-brain/left-brain dexterity by possessing both the knowledge and passion for design and production to deliver flawless production files. This person is confident, able to assess projects while incorporating direction from multiple sources, and able to work in a fast-paced, team environment. Must be able to understand and apply approved design system and brand style guidelines across multiple elements. Freelance position will be evaluated and approved for agreed upon # of hours on a weekly basis.

• Understand brands across multiple channels to design and build final art for varying mediums/disciplines with a key focus on Digital Banners, POS, Displays and packaging.
• Design and build final art for a subset or a unit of a larger creative program and still be able to holistically integrate the element.
• Build on and expand an existing idea. Understand and follow creative/design brief—from any point in the process—to create production-ready art.
• Be versatile and flexible, able to respond quickly and willing to shift gears.
• Communicate with supervisor and team regularly and clearly about all matters of business importance.
• Adhere to guidelines of freelance position: hours will be approved ahead of time and should not exceed agreed upon hours on a weekly basis.

• 3+ years of experience in a creative facility
• Expert in Adobe suite including Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop along with proficiency in Microsoft suite (including PowerPoint)
• Good fundamental production & printing knowledge – including understanding of templates, dielines and display components.
• Experience with retail brands or fast-churning clients/environments is a big plus
• Well-organized and able to juggle multiple projects
• Excellent communicator; can adeptly manage expectations
• Demonstrates excellent typography, composition, and layout skills
• Can work independently or with a team with little or much direction at any given time
• Proactive and can be mindful of time and budget constraints
•  Can take designs to completion & build art files correctly for reproduction
• Ability to be flexible week-to-week with freelance hours and work within approved hours.

The following range represents the low and high of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of The Integer Group in the United States.  Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, associated responsibilities, and other organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.  Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire: $40-$50/hour
