Integer is seeking an Associate Director, Content to join our agency!



The Associate Director is responsible for creating photography, video and dynamic imagery for use on digital and social media. Your creativity and problem solving skills will be tested in this fast-paced environment as projects will vary on a week to week basis. Looking for someone who is a craftsman across the board, with a variety of skills. These include; lighting, shooting, recording audio, editing, animation, graphics and creation of various digital & social media file outputs. Works independently to create content and drive production solutions within the content creation team.
 
The Content Maker works alongside a content creation team which includes Content Producers, Community Managers, Creative and Account Leadership to concept and create beautiful and innovative content that fulfills digital/social strategies for our clients. They must be able to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members and other agency associates.
 
The Associate Director of Content Creation oversees a small team of content creators, assisting and coaching with the daily technical needs and production related training and insights for their team to grow technically and creatively. All scheduling and resourcing handled by producer team. This role is also responsible for strategic direction of the department in driving growth of the through process improvements, quality of work and aligning with growing client needs.

25% Contributes to the team’s content creation efforts in regular planning meetings, brainstorms and pre-production meetings by bringing energy, enthusiasm, ideas and solutions. Collaborates closely with Community Managers and Content Producers to plan photo/video shoots and a variety of digital and social content outputs.
 
25% Shoots photos, video and creates compelling imagery in both studio and location settings. Crafts effective stories through editing and animating video footage and re-using existing source material. Retouches, color corrects and animates digital photos to appropriately enhance social postings with dynamic imagery. Collaborates with agency teams throughout the entire process and provides careful follow-through on all assignments. Also in charge of maintaining organization of the production server.
 
20% Working with production and creative leadership as project specific barriers arise, and collaborate to create team based solutions. Partner with Group Creative Director team to assess successes and areas for growth as it relates to internal production. Provide overall ICP department leadership as it relates to content creation. Partner with other Integrated Production leadership to create cohesive workflows and processes. In partnership with internal production lead, educate and onboard peer departments on workflows and processes. Maintain training documentation for both incoming producers and new employees in peer departments. Advise on individual or department training needed to keep up with rapid pace of growth of production discipline.
 
20% Managing - Conducting regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports as well as daily coaching and problem solving. Mentorship and training for direct reports and new hires. Working with Human Resources to screen resumes and interview potential candidates. Preparing and delivering 90 day and annual performance reviews for direct reports.
 
10%Continuously grows craft skills and technical knowledge through creative/ production experimentation, attending workshops, utilizing online resources, etc…

• 8+ years experience shooting independently within a team environment.


• Agency experience not mandatory but highly favorable.


• Production and post production industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience


• A portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding and technical proficiency of photography, video, and animation


• A broad knowledge of social media platforms and a willingness to explore creative visual techniques to bring content to life


• Demonstration of photography, video editing, graphics and animation craft skills


• Ability to operate cameras and production equipment to shoot photos and footage with technical and creative proficiency


• Talented with programs in  Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, CaptureOne) and ability to learn new software (Dragonframe, Davinci)


• Craft expertise with post production hardware, software, technology resources and solutions


• Understanding of how visual content plays out and communicates on social platforms.


• Ability to apply problem solving skills to production challenges


• Strong interpersonal skills essential; ability to collaborate on shoots and in post with enthusiasm and a positive attitude


• Careful attention to details and technical requirements on production assignment deliverables


• Attend weekly team meetings, regular planning sessions, and be engaged in team and agency activities


• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft office, Teams and other online tools.

The following range represents the low and high of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of The Integer Group in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, associated responsibilities, and other organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire: $90k-$105k.
